When it comes to partying after a day of skiing, Borovets is definitely a name to remember. Like almost anywhere in Bulgaria, the bars and discos of the resort offer very competitive prices for food and drinks. Most places often offer free drinks, announce happy hours or give discounts, so be careful with the rounds you order.

Hotel Rila is lively and friendly, burgeoning with many events: folklore evenings, wine tasting, sleigh rides.

Rila’s nightclub and disco club are the most popular in the resort. Some of the finest Bulgarian beers – Zagorka, Astika, Kamenitza are readily available in bottles or on tap. The same applies for the locally-brewed Heineken, Amstel and Stella Artois.
