Climbing to the highest peak in Bulgaria and one the Balkan peninsula - peak Musala. Intense and beautiful uphill skiing, following the line of the winter marking. The final meters before Musala peak require taking off the skis and walking along a safe rock edge. After reaching Musala peak, the route continues towards the Marichini lakes valley. Next comes a long and scenic downhill ride, passing Maritsa lodge, followed by walking with bindings until the Black rock and returning from there to Borovets. This route is suitable for people with good ski touring experience.

This route is suitable for ski touring beginners who want to make their first steps in uphill skiing. The route is easy and follows a groomed ski way to Musala lodge and skiing back downhill. The altitude increases gradually and the route doesn't depend on the snow and weather conditions.

Level 1: Easy
This route is suitable for everyone who wants to try out climbing uphill in off-piste terrain and ski downhill on the ski zone slopes. The uphill line follows a steep forest pathway reaching to the panoramic view from Sitnyakovo rock and finishes in the upper station of Sitnyakovo lift. From there the downhill skiing continues on a groomed slope.

Panoramic climbing on one of the mountain ridges that surround the the valley of Musala lodge and end in peak Irechek 2852m. The route required previous ski touring experience and offers beautiful uphill and downhill rides. Depending on the snow conditions, walking in ski boots may be required on the ridge before peak Irechek.
