On 5–6 September, Borovets will host a major summer biathlon competition for young athletes aged up to 13.

Over two days, young biathletes from clubs across Bulgaria will compete in an exciting combination of speed, endurance and shooting skills.

More than 200 young athletes from clubs across the country are expected to take part, making this one of the highlights of the season for Bulgarian youth biathlon.

The competition is held every year under the patronage of Samokov Municipality, while this year's edition is particularly special as the hosts, Samokov Sports Club, celebrate a jubilee.
